Finally finished! Uploaded the codes for the first time today to my console and it actually ran just fine. Framerates hold decent on 2 player, no guarantees on 3 or 4 player how well they'll hold.

Screenshots:

Level - Depot Backzone
Design - BMW
Room Connection method - Wreck
Train Fixes - BMW
Doors - BMW / Wreck
Code Memory - 250.75 / 251
Entry Codes - 240

For you newbies out there, the following codes are formatted for the console. To run them on emulator, enter each of the 4 parts as a separate code.

Awesome level! I didn't expect Ouromov's car and the dam truck! Very cool!!! That level is going to be really sweet one on one. Someone please capture footage!

One suggestion - can you put a locked door in the train? If you fire rockets towards the back, they'll go through instead of exploding off the door. Looks like you've run out of codes however. Well, if you can ever spare one.

My favorite kill in level (shooting through vent):

I assume you're talking about the little black space at the end of the far back room in the train? It could easily be done IF I had available code. Mind you the right-hand wall in the back of the train used to be black like that too - you'll notice right now its nothing more than a locked door Smile Looks pretty close to the same as the other walls.

I was totally not expecting this! The level framerate is crazy good! I was unable to load 4 players on emu, tried many times, 3 players loaded and played brilliantly! This is an amazing level. Thanks so much. It's just absolutely brilliant.

Hmmm....that's odd that it won't load with 4 players on the emulator. I tried it myself and what happens is the game doesn't freeze, but everything stays black with the music playing. I know that earlier in the creation of the level before I fully populated it with objects that it did work in 4 player. I have no clue what the problem is.

And I can't test 4 player on my console - I only have 3 controllers. I'll be curious to hear if anybody has any luck w/4 players on console.

I'll definitely have to try out the finalized version. It doesn't look too far off from the last one I tried, with the exception of that crate pile and body armour.

I ran into the same 4-Player mode problem when I was testing things out for the Depot map I'm still planning on making. Both 2 & 3-Player would start fine, but four was a no-go. It could be one of many reasons. a) there are too many textures / models in use. b) the data runs into other important memory. c) it requires too much processing power to load everything in. d) the Depot still sucks. However, I had this same issue in Runway. Perhaps it can be resolved.

Depot always had a problem 4 player, sort of like the weird troubles you'll see with frigate. The codes are being written in a block used for decompression, so sometimes you'l get redundant data, like FF written every 0x100 bytes or something similarrly idiotic.

If you figure out where the trouble data is, you can move stuff to account for it. It's usually a bite though.
