GoldenEye COMPLETE Multiplayer Menu Picture Mod for SOLO Modded Stages
Example Format: Random? pic and text alteration

What the codes do:
These codes change Random's multiplayer image into whatever the SOLO image needs to be for a modded level as well as make the LEVEL text it's SOLO name on the picture and in the multiplayer briefing menu. The code also contains an extra code which MUST BE USED to make Random load the correct MODDED level.

Master Cheat Menu (ALL WEAPONS)

Please read my tutorial below. The COLLISION feature is right on top of ALL GUNS. Hold A to select each feature. Hold A then try to walk through an object, if it works go to the next feature you need to turn ON.
1. Load the game normally and select INFINITE AMMO from the cheat menu then select SLAPPERS ONLY in the multi setup menu along with COMPLEX as your loading stage or STACK (Objects).
2. When you spawn into the level wait until the camera stops panning and your character disappears.
3. Press the up arrow and down arrow at the SAME time on the yellow 4-button pad on your joystick and a bunch of crazy scrambled looking words will appear.
4. Use your cross pad to scroll through to ALL GUNS, hold down A then scroll to ALL AMMO and select it with A also holding it down until a DIFFERENT gun appears. (Note)... Every once and a while you may have to hold down the C-up and C-down buttons AGAIN to get the highlighter to move through the menu......
5. Now, move the red highlight away from everything you selected to prevent the game from getting confused then press START.

<<Note>>
You eventually will become a PRO at using this menu. The collision feature works beautifully in multiplayer if you wish to play FULL versions of certain levels like Archives or Facility. This feature allows you to walk through doors that are normally locked during regular gameplay!

Now you can play with ANY weapon and never run out of ammo! Tank rounds are probably my favorite because you can shoot people from across the entire level! This is most interesting on the Surface level.

Now you can alter the multiplayer menu for any level and it will stay PERMANENTLY. Yes, after hours of staring in the memory editor at addresses I finally figured out how the damn thing really works. These codes will actually write over the original slots in the game for a permanent menu modification!! Enjoy Cool

I'm not sure how many people are still using GameShark codes, especially since the custom levels can be made through the GoldenEye Editor and put in a ROM. They can still be useful, for sure. I definitely use the ability in PJ64 during testing. And people who don't own a flash cart and want to play on console can appreciate it. We are moving away from these codes, though. Still, it's good to have a place they are archived.

Yeah, most of this was due to seeing random questions across the forums about gameshark codes for different things. I'm with you on the technological advancements of the setup editor and custom rom creation. My daughter turns 8 this year and she is beginning to take a lot more interest in goldeneye and fps games lol. Working with the setup editor and creating anything for goldeneye is a life consuming process when it comes to married life and kids Laughing Maybe when she moves out another decade from now I'll come out of retirement. It's just a whole lot easier for me to create content for goldeneye source and now with my experience in hammer and working with models I can easily convert any GE or Perfect Dark level into the source engine EXACTLY as it is with all its geometry. My only issue has been figuring out how to fix alpha channels on certain textures for transparency to render correctly. Like the vines in Perfect Dark and anything with WINDOWS.
Hopefully this archive will help any young blood that picks up those retro consoles at gamestop's type places and picks up a shark or something. I still have some more codes to add from TWINE and Perfect Dark that are extremely hard to find as well as a little more data in here from the good ole days. Wink

It is disappointing how much of the information on the internet is being lost over time. Especially considering that supposedly for a couple of decades now, we've all been made aware of how data needs to be carefully saved or it might disappear forever.

The Wayback Machine ( https://archive.org/web/ ) is a decent first attempt at reducing the loss, but unfortunately it's so full of broken links, missing images, missing download files, etc, that it's often just a dead end when trying to find old content on it.
