| No 360's available in stores. This is crazy. The PS3 is coming soon and these guys can't even take advantage of being first out. It's pathetic really. This could cost them tons and tons of money. Not only that, but think of the losses for the companies that made 360 versions of games. Yikes. No consoles means no game sales. As EA!! crap for them and us really. Performance wise, I really wonder if the 360 is going to be lousy. Of course first out means the oldest specs. I will only buy this for Halo 3. That's it honestly. |

It could be a ploy by Microsoft.
You get people worked up to buy a system, but not have it available.
A few months down the road, you release another wave to the screaming masses.
They sell better than hot cakes, leave the stores empty, and the public clammering for more.
I'd say that's a clever idea, seeing as the PS3 & Revolution aren't out until nearly '07.
There's no current competition in the "next-gen" war, it's all Microsoft for now. |

True. Recently, I've heard that the shortage has finally started to slow down. People should see xbox 360's at their local retailer now.
