Has anybody got any clue why I'm getting a white shadow under bond in the intro swirl? no other guards are affected, I've checked the character model, shadow texture, clipping colour and also changed bond into another character and still a white shadow? _________________ My YouTube Channel

Is this affecting every level, or only a customized one? That's the first thing I'd check to help narrow ideas down. |

Thanx wreck I did have a look and the other levels were fine so I had to do more testing, I haven't solved the problem but I know how to recreate it.
I think the editor is doing something it shouldn't.
Open Dam via Game Configuration (edit solo in visual)
In Edit intro Block export intro swirl anim to txt file
Make level bare bones
Import swirl you just saved back in and say yes to recalculate
Delete jap txt and debug, import level and save rom
now its a little difficult to see but if you shade the tiles under bond so there black you will see it much better. _________________ My YouTube Channel

I do recall that the Dam intro swirl at one point in time actually used to crash on edited levels. It was fixed, but maybe there is still something slightly off about it... |

Add a dummy guard set to 0001 block at the opposite end of the level |

Are you saying that a level without another character in it will cause Bond's shadow to appear incorrectly? |

Bond's shadow generation code assumes there has been another guard that existed in the level, else it will screw up the rendering |
