This was posted elsewhere in the forum but with now dead links. Since a member of the N64vault discord was asking for it to be uploaded elsewhere and also crossposted here, here it is.

Credits go to Acceptable67 for the original patch and SubDrag for the followup patch for console
There is an issue with no control when the bot game ends, so a reset is necessary to continue.
