There is a mod out there for the origonal doom that deserves alot more credit than it has. This person has been able to recreate the goldeneye experience with added secrets that every goldeneye fan could dream of. The best thing about it is that it is free and a stand alone game, so you don't actually need doom, just a download of it! Heres the link to it on the official mod site, as well as the home page.

It's dam cool; I would say the onlything that comes close to it is goldeneye source and that only has multiplayer.
