I'm new to emulation, but I still have to ask. Is there anyway to play Goldeneye online using an emulator. Like, is there a way to manipulate the code and link two computers so that you could play multiplayer. Essentially I'm trying to make the computers believe they're being played on the same 64 system. Is there any way to do this?
Thanks,
Virgil |

use Projet 64K (pj64k) you search a server, you enter, and you setup your goldeneye, you wait people coming and play
(juste that i hear, i'm searching a plugin "Direct3d 6.0" without this it not working) |

Yes, there is. I've done it myself. The results aren't stellar though. 1964 is the fastest I've found, but try pj64k also. I use 1964. You can basically set it up as a LAN. I was a little disapppointed that it desynced even on a LAN. We did some experiments and it was cool to see, but not overly playable. Wait for pj64 1.7 which is working towards having online capabilities. Not sure the status of that however. |
