Mac OS, various *nixes, others with even less market penetration. Does anyone here use them as their primary OS? I doubt it, but they do exist. |

I love Vista.
People that say Vista sucks, never tried it, only heard it from people. _________________

I'm fine with Vista, actually. The only thing that sucked at first was how many security warnings there were. Every time you'd go to load a program or a new web page, they'd ask you two or three times if it was alright. You also had to set yourself to run as the administrator just to get certain things going. _________________

I liked vista, but Win 7 is basically a finely tuned vista. |

Thats true. I don't intentionally want to upgrade from Vista to 7 but I'm getting a new computer soon and... it has Windows 7.
I'll miss Vista, but I think I'll enjoy 7 just as much.
And for some reason, I don't want to buy the Vista disc. I've experienced 7, and I like it. _________________

I use XP, and plan to invest some investigation and time into a crafting a "perfect" custom XP using the many tools that are available for stripping useless features, changing defaults, etc etc...
Also, when I get a new computer that will be the recipient of that XP customization (and maybe win7 in another partition), I plan to do the same with win98 for this old computer, along with a custom built case to convert it to some workbench computer and old console support. It will occupy it's place along with consoles and TV.
I will also use NT clone ReactOS when it reaches a good level of usability.
