I apologize for this going so far off topic, Stolen Textures. I'll go through this thread and clean it up for you. The person who redirected the conversation has since been banned. They've been posting nonsense and other materials that aren't welcome here. Hopefully they won't find their way back and start this up again.
Anyways, the new textures do look really nice. Like Radorn said, it's definitely better than most of the other hi-res replacements that have been online. I'd like to see where this goes, so be sure to keep us updated. _________________

You will need rice video plugin to use the textures. _________________ There totally nothing to read here. |

That I do have, I have Rice's 5.5.1 as well as the 6.1.1(both of which are available on Mupen64++)
soo, how do I use the texture pack then? _________________ Who? |

There is some handy info on installing at the retexture wiki. As far as I know, the pack only works with glide64 (atm). I really wouldn't bother with this current release, as most textures are ether placeholders or very rough "proof of concept" textures. |

Hey, those really do look great! Haven't been on here for a while.. My computer crashed. Just ordered a new one, thankfully. How long have you been working on this project for? You really are doing a fantastic job. I hope you continue to work on this. I will try to help if I can after the weekend. |

I'm sorry I don't know mupen64++ very well. I can only give you my glide64 settings for Goldeneye 007. You may have to change some setting for muppen like "Get Frame Buffer Info". |

I think I might as well just wait because Glide is a little confusing and won't work on PJ64.. and for some odd reason 1964 will not work on my PC, none of the games will play it just crashes(and yes I run it as administrator, and I have tried w/o running it as administrator.) so I just have to use Mupen64 and the configuration settings are a little confusing.
Will this also work with Rice's in the finished product or just work with Glide? _________________ Who? |

I don't know yet. As far as I know, Rice will not load alpha textures alone and require alpha texture masks. Making the alpha maps right now would be a waste of time since I am always changing the textures to see what fits the 'style' better. Its far too early to be thinking about Rice support. Right now, my main focus is capturing interpret display names for textures. This is extremely frustrating because the ID names keep changing, which means some texture interpret IDs will require to be dumped at least 50 times before they are fully captured.
EDIT: I'll post a new update when I've added/replaced some textures. |

Stolen Textures, do you think you will continue to work on these textures? They sure are looking great. Much better than most texture packs I have seen. I'm excited to see how this will come along. Thanks for the hard work you've put into this. It will receive and be worthy of much praise once completed |

Thank you. I may continue this texture pack, however, with university coming up in 2011, I will have less time tweaking textures and dumping interpret IDs. I will still work on it on-and-off when I have free time, of course. Right now, I am working on stuff like walls and floors and interpret IDs. I hope to have dam and facility in a more eye-pleasing state by next release. |
