| Yep it's amazing. Damn me though I haven't even been able to try it out! I need HL2 and my time = non existent. Really brilliant project though. I would like to add a lot more about it on the site. Soon, soon. |

| I wanted to try that out and DLed HL2 just for doing that... but a cracked HL2 doesn't take mods as it seems, at least I can't get it running at all... shame... |

| Hey PaD did you try reading around on the source forums for installing the mod? Think it was common that people couldn't figure out how to get it working. Check there I suggest. I hope you get it running!! |

I don't know if this would help, but at first my version did not work either:
I updated Steam, than I installed the Alpha 1.1.exe and started it.
Worked fine, the menus etc, but there were no maps...
So I copied the content from 1.0 to the Steam Mod folder Goldeneye Source. Of course I did not overwrite the newer files with the 1.0 files. Then tried again and it works.
Only thing that is bad at least for me:
You can not jump (ok on N64 doesn't work, but as HL2 Mod..)
You can't run fast?! (common, this is to slow for egoshooters)
Levels looks great, with some nice ideas like Facility Backzone^^
Temple is also great, just I can't take the Goldengun.
Everyone should try this out. |

By the way the Golden EYE Alpha 1 Installer DOES NOT INSTALL IT TO THE CORRECT FOLDER
Just Manually Place the GoldenEye folder in --C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\ -- and restart steam
I hope that this helps people with the installation (i would love to play any of you guys) for the people that cant figure out the installation. I hope this helps and i am not talking to myself.
