I used to play CS source down at the Cyber Cafe. When's GE source coming out?

Those are indeed some wicked graphics! Though graphics aside, the game still had better "play" very similar to the original because without good gameplay, graphics are useless.

ive been watching this project with great interest and anticipation since its conception. the main drawback imo is the ability to jump. heres a quick equation for you math elites:

Jumping + GE = WRONG!

do any of you GE mappers plan on 'porting' your maps to GE source? many of the maps that suffer from blackouts and other problems would be well suited for such a thing.

I'm 50-50 on the jumping aspect. Most modern shooters have jumping, but most people want it to be like the origional. I myself am one of them. But I'll play it either way.

as will i.

i suppose it would be unfair to ask the developer to limit themselves in such a way, i envision 'gentleman's agreements' not to jump if playing with fellow die-hards.

Hehe, that's not only funny, it's true.
I mean, jumping is most often used in athletic sports. I can't think of the last time that I've jumped, either. Maybe I'm just picturing the way characters jump in games. I don't think I've ever jumped like that.

You never jump up to try and reach overhangs and stuff when your walking down the street? Maybe thats just me and my freinds. Its almost like a competition among us. (nobody can bank off the walls like me though, so I always reach highest Twisted Evil )

Its been a while since I've played CS source, did they have jumping?
