Believe it or not, but there are people out there who are stupid enough to try some of those things. Barefoot stomping of controllers is highly popular in certain countries, like Africa and Egypt. The Irish have had a long standing tradition of inserting four leaf clovers into any crevice they can locate, even on themselves. The Insane Clown Posse poor orange soda on just about everything they find at a concert. Who wants to buy another copy of a game, simply because the disc was broken in half? A little tape and some super glue fixes all problems. When there doesn't seem to be an electrical current running through the cables, the best way to tell is to put the end in your mouth. Haven't you heard that freezing your Wii will drastically slowdown the internal clock, giving you more time to tend to your pets on games like Animal Crossing and Nintendogs? The Wiimote's also come with a new sticker on the back: "If you can read this, you're too close". It would also appear that gamers with pacemakers are going to be leftout this round of consoles. After losing fourty-some-odd times to a boss in a game, it's nice to share a cigarette with your system once you've beaten them. I suppose you'd rather let your Nintendo catch a cold, than to wrap it up in a blanket. Hell, if your kid is more interested by the bag that the Wii came in, than they shouldn't be playing video games. Player one must seek therapy immediately. Insert credit to continue.

Uhhh....huh? Yeah. Well, that freezing thing is just the opposite. It actually helps improve performance. I did an experiment with six labtops. I checked the loading times in 60 degrees celcius, room tempurature, and 3 degrees celcius. From 60 to room temp, it improved by 3 seconds. And in 3 degrees, it improved by five. The tag line for my experiment was "Do eskimos get DSL?" The plasma screens didnt enjoy the cold though, they were laggin big time.
