I've found out that Gamesharks have a LED indicator (little window with countdown in front of the GS), and Gamesharks don't have a LED indicator.

Today, since I've met a guy who know about Gamesharks (N64), he told that Gamesharks have a little battery because according to him, he thought that if a gameshark dosen't start, the battery is dead. But compared to me, I've taken down 2 of my 3 Gamesharks, I discovered there were NO battery inside, just circuits and chips. And I remembered that there were no countdown in the little window of my Gameshark.

Damnit, it asked me to re-sign in after voting, then didn't accept my vote.
When I went to vote again, I clicked "Yes" by accident! Mad

At this time, I only have one working GameShark. The two that I bought off of eBay were both version 3.3's and were PC compatable. However, neither of them have working LED's. Yes, they have the little white cube in place on the circuitry, but they don't light up. It would appear as though the cheating devices didn't just suck at one point in particular, but rather began to decline into crapness slowly... Confused

my gameshark has lasted over a year. the first gameshark I got might have just been dirty or I might have put on the wrong keycode but I never got to find out because I threw it against a wall and it broke into pieces. yeah I was drunk lol. the second one I think a code corrupted it. I still have it and when I turn it on, the gameshark logo is messed up and it freezes when I go into the game list. the third one just stopped working for some reason. same thing with the 4th one. then I got the 5th one last January and it still works fine.
