Here's a little poll I made, when I played King of the Hill in Complex of PD, the Frames per Second was high, so I did some speed strafe techniques.

I always play Shotgun Battles at the Complex, so I knew the Complex as if it was the back of my hand. It was me against 1 DarkSim, and I had 7 HardSims on my side (Just because I'm cheap sometimes).

I started looking down and speedstrafe towards the Hill, It's hard to explain how I did it. I wish I recorded the gameplay, but it would lag. I was also kept beating up DarkSim really bad. Even though I had low health.

I have a speedstrafe technique of Level 6 (Not to brag, if you seen me playing you would understand), I stare at walls, look down on the floor, and still kill people. It's hard to explain.

I can't do speedrun missions though. I'm more of a combat simulator guy.

There isn't an option that really defines my speedstrafing. I use the C-Buttons most of the time I'm playing, to help in dodging and reaching a destination much quicker. At corners and intersections, definitely. When I'm trying for a record mission time, I'll look downward to keep the frames steady. I probably strafe more in GoldenEye, than in Perfect Dark. But in multiplayer, it's quite close. The stages are burnt into my memory like the alphabet. By now, I should be able to navigate most GE maps with my eyes closed. It'd actually be interesting to play using two analogue sticks. That would feel very different at first.

Now, that's surprising. I meant in GE and/or PD, but somehow I'm always attached to posting topics in Perfect Dark forum group...

That's to know though, Wreck.

Couldn't there be a way to convert a N64 controller to have two analogue sticks like a playstation controller has. and make it compatible with the N64?

I'd say, use the all knowing google to look up steps to doing that. Or even better, make a topic for it. There's has to be someone here who knows.

You could probably make one, but it would have to act like the c-buttons so you could only get 15 total directions, way way less sensitive.

It would be way better and probably easier to get GE on X-box like Halo or a system that could support a revised version, but we know where that conversation goes with legal issues, compatability..

GE is more personal.

You can play GE on a hacked XBox, that'll give you the controls. But of course it's not the real thing and the emulated versions can't compare.

Thats what I was just thinking about. Hacked x box's were one of the big "concerns" of microsoft. they should've welcomed it because it might have become like another n-64.
