Need for Speed: Carbon is the newest game I've added to my collection. I've already beaten it twice, once with muscle cars, and once with exotics. ANd now I'm working on honing my drift skills to I can unlock everything. If anyone has a PS2, I'd highly suggest the game for anyone who loves the racing genre. (yea I know, "shooters forever" but ya still gotta love a good racing game) In this one, you don't have neons like in NFS Underground 1 and 2, but theres a ton of more customization options (including some amazing vinals) and the ability to build and run your own racing crew. Surprised This game is right up there with my all time favorites. (even up there with halo) Plus there's this cool new feature called "my garage" where you can create any car you want for zero money. Those cars can only be used for the quick race section, but its still awsome for checking out how you want to sup up your cars before you waste money on it. (I've made some awsomely themed cars out of the lotus, the Skyline, and the McLaren) Is there anyone else here who has a love for racing games?

I used to really enjoy racing games. Ridge Racer and Wipeout for PlayStation were lots of fun. Need For Speed included the police chases, which was awesome. Twisted Metal, though not considered an actual race car game, was an interesting take on the genre. Who doesn't love Mario Kart and Diddy Kong Racing? But one of my favourites has to be Beetle Adventure Racing. My buddy Kyle and I used to try and find ways of getting outside the course boundaries. There were tons of cool areas you could get to, where you were never supposed to see. That's what made it so memorable. It's not just the racing, but the extra stuff you can do inbetween.

My freind Kyle was the one that got me so into NFS. As for the newest game, its not as centered around the cop chases. (even though they are still there) But the way the cops work have really improved though. Another cool feature is that your able to lower the wanted level on your car by chaging the way it looks. But the cops will still remember it once you are arrested, and if our arrested three times in one car, its impounded for good. If you liked the underground series you'd love this one.

Nah, its all good. Not everybody is a racing fan. The thing that I've always enjoyed about NFS is that its not the typical racing game. Especially from Underground on. I used to play hot persuit alot, but mostly because that was one of the only games we had that was fun.
