I've got to say, I'm very impressed with the mission thus far. It plays really well, and has a good difficulty to it. I haven't tried it on 00 Agent yet, but Secret gave me a pretty good run. Took a few tries to finally beat it. The boss is definitely a worthy opponent, as are some of the armoured forces. Everything seems to work correctly, as far as I can tell. Great stuff, DB.

I'm happy to hear you liked it, seems everyone has so far. I'm waiting to hear from my last tester then I'm going to implement everyone's suggestions and get this thing ready for release. I'm hoping my new keyboard gets here tomorrow or Friday, if not I'm stealing this one so I can playtest the final release candidate myself.
Your briefing was perfect, I'm so glad you offered to help. If you want, take some screenshots of it and post them here. |

Chances are this will be out early tomorrow morning. I want to give it a few more playthroughs, I'm not 100% sure I eradicated the two crash bugs that Wreck encountered in the test copy. |

All right, I'm going to release this now. Hopefully no one runs into any crashes, I haven't had any in my testing since I changed a few action blocks but as I said in my above post I'm not 100% certain that they are gone entirely:

Yeah, I turned on backup compatibility option in the preferences.
Edit: I just looked at your PM again and realized I completely forgot about recompressing the files. I just did that and updated the zip I posted here. |

Great mission, the first of the custom missions on the site to pose me some difficulty in completing. Took me awhile to figure out where to actually use the launch keys though.
By the way, with the timed mines did you intentionally give the player more than are needed? I have 4 extra ones that I use to take care of a couple fiendishly placed drone guns as well as a couple ambushes (the six dual ZMG guys mainly).
With the boss, there is a small glitch, but it doesn't happen everytime I try it- if you wait until a couple lines into his dialogue and then start attacking him, he doesn't call you impatient and just stands there and lets you kill him. But like I said, I haven't managed to get it to happen everytime I've tried as such.
Very intense escape sequence, with all the SP forces after you. I like this mission a lot.
EDIT: Also, I have encountered an occasional crashing glitch that happens when the boss's reinforcements are supposed to show up. |

I was kind of worried about the keys, I tried to make that console the only one in the level to draw some attention to it but I wasn't sure if it would work or not.

Yeah, the extra mines are intentional, I intended for them to be used to help take out guards or whatever other use the player can find for them.

Never happened to me while I was testing it. I've had it sometimes not display his impatient line but he would still attack so I wasn't too worried about it, I guess I should have been.

Do you mean when he opens the door to let the three guys with AR33's in? If so, that's strange, I've never had a crash there. |
