Hey guys,
Ive been doing my research on how to clean old plastics and Ive found al sorts of things, like retrobright or this solution with a hair product etc. But these are for white plastics like the snes or nes or old keyboards. Has anyone here tried to restore translucent plastics like the ones found in Funtastic n64? I have a japanese n64 that has the top half translucent aqua blue and the bottom translucent white. The white does not look as nice and I was wondering if there is a way to restore it.
Thanks! |

This would be nice to know about, as I also have the half white Japanese stuff. I've got the blue console, and I customized some other controllers to use the white clear back half. While the whites aren't really yellowing much, if there is a method to bring back the original appearance, I'd be interested in learning it. |
