| Three days down, but I'm back. On a scale of 1-10 for PC crashes, this one was 9. Not 10 because I didn't lose data. However, everything else happened because of corrupt windows files. Turned on the computer and wham, windows cannot start message. This was a crazy fix. If I didn't have 2 PCs with net access there is no way I could have untangled the mess. Just a reminder, back it up. Back it up, and back it up. For most of us, there are years of information on our hard drives. Years of files etc. Just don't get caught sleeping. Back it up. |

I back mine up with email. 
I know what it can be like to almost lose dear work. Being the procrascinator I am, I waited untill the last night to complete my seven page reasearch paper on the Harlem Renaissance. Then just as I finished the power went out. I almost threw the computure against the wall. As you can immagine, I felt like the luckiest guy in the world when I learned my recovery system had saved all but a few paragraphs at the end. It was a scary few minuits though.
Glad to know you didn't lost any data.
