| I just watched it. I was a huge boxing fan, but for the past five years or so I haven't been impressed. I was anticipating this fight because of all the hype and talk about boxing being back now. Well, that fight was not going to bring me back as a fan. It was decent, but it wasn't a great fight. I don't know the future of boxing because MMA is far more interesting. Just my opinion but if that is the best boxing has to offer then the sport needs some serious revamping. |

I missed the fight, but I read all the hype in Sports Illistrated. Boxing will never, ever die. Even with the mainstream of MMA, boxing is still classic.
For now it may be in a lull, but it'll come back.
