I want to change the character from bond to something else when you play single player. I got the idea after jac posted it; so I was just wondering if there actually is a way.

I took the codes down from ColdShadowX's post, because they were fairly long, and weren't quite what Jac6 and Moonraker808 were looking for. I appreciate you trying to help out, though. Smile

As for changing the clothing that Bond wears during the missions, I have done this before. I actually made it so you'd play as Dr. Doak in Facility, as well as Defense Minister Dimitri Mishkin in Archives. Now, I'm not sure if anyone has established just where in the ROM they setup the different Bond characters. The head, suit and cuff would be in the same block, which would likely (though not necessarily) include his point-of-view height. The voice for when he his injured may also be present. Since that hasn't been located, we need to mod the actual models called at their ID. Such as the black tuxedo being character model 05. You'd change the data to that of another entry. It's a little complicated to explain, and I don't have much time. When I get back home, I'll check back into it.

Or you can just switch Bonds arm in the GEedit. All of them change his clothes, apart from connery's tux.

Nah not yet. I think it's not because we don't fully know how these blocks work.

Every guard in the game DOES HAVE an individual code. One of the guards in the list will be the Janus Special Forces. I tried this code years back and it worked fine for me.

When you set the character for the stage using the intro block, it sets both the arm and the model. Each model is hard-coded to be loaded with the arm, and it sucks trying to change it because they don't just call model numbers...
Unlike Perfect Dark, where each character has a seperate arm, in GE all the possible suit arms are loaded into that 'Master Hand' binary, as it is so affectionately called. The order is dictated by the offsets at the beginning of the file. It's some crazy stuff.

The only way to change the player's character in solo is to swap the suit models. You can do this with codes - they were called global object modifiers - or you can probably do this in the editor as well. The codes above were a subset of the complete list; I'll see if I have it lying about anywhere. It won't change the cuff, but it will change the suit.

In the future we might be able to override the default setting for each suit, but for now you'll need to swap models.
