Do you have to PJ64 to play Library? Because I have Mupen64k and I cannot find the right options to configure rom settings like you have in the picture. _________________ An Elevator from Earth; then to the Heavens...

You don't need to do any of that to play it with Mupen64k, it should run it "out of the box," but from my experience not as good as PJ64 would with the correct settings. |

Agreed. I actually played it on mupen64 for the first time earlier today. It played ok but there was some minor lag in some areas that wasn't present on PJ64. Though it doesn't seem to pop up with the constant graphical errors I get on PJ64.
btw - I finally managed a 0:41 run on Agent mode. I think 0:40 is theoretically possible, that's my goal time. If I ever pull it off I'll post a video. The key to shaving off half a second or so is to IMMEDIATELY right out of the gate press start and pull up your high density floppy disk. This way you don't lose traveling momentum by doing it at a later time. |

This isn't too impressive yet, but thought you guys might find it interesting.
(link removed, see below)
This level seriously rocks man, way to go. Right from the get go, I felt the need for speed, and went after it. I can probably get around 35 I think.

Well that breaks my record of 0:37. And I definitely saw room for improvement in your run, I think 0:35 is easily possible. |

Library Agent 0:35
Still some room for improvement, no doubt. Have you speedran SA/00 at all? I was thinking I'd give that a try once I've played them some more. |

Its been a while but I think I did Secret Agent in 1:30-something (between 1:30 and 1:39) but its been a while since I last tried so I don't remember. I never did a speed run on 00 Agent, its hard enough to beat without speed. |

Excellent.
This should give players a good number of new missions to run through, while maintaining the competitive spirit of the original campaign. _________________

Oh man its been so long since I sped-run this that I can't remember what my times were.
Just curious - on your new website are you going to require a standardized set of emulator settings for speed runs? I don't know whether or not certain settings could have an effect on times.
On another note - I can't help but notice that this thread now has over 25,000 views. There must be some external links to this from other websites to get the number that high. |

Well, you're not allowed to use 1964 emulator since it's run smoother than any other.
You can use Mupen64 though, the record function is really helpful to make some good videos, yes, some times needs proof though.
I don't know for the settings, never tested it out if it could add or decrease lag for example using a different video plugin.
Ofcourse, you're not allowed to drop FPS so you play in Slow mo.
You have to play in full speed.
My website will contain a lot of informaton.
Don't know about Project64.
EDIT:
LTK and DLTK will be added aswell as information about it! _________________ My stream channel: http://www.twitch.tv/speedruntrainer
