anyone knows code for changing the max-ammo carried? you know, most of weapons you can carry 400 ammo max, i would like to change this amount?

another code i'm seeking, is how to change the amount of super-dragon grenades in the ammo box?

anyone?

Thanks to InsomniaDMX, I have the superdragon grenades modifier:

Superdragon Grenades Magazine Capacity:
8106CBC4 ****

But I don't know about your other code, you're saying you want to make a weapon have more than 400 ammo?

thnx, but that isn't the code i'm searching... the magazinesize is fine, but i want that when i pick up the ammobox, it gives me different amount of superdragon GRENADES (less), i think you get too much grenades what i don't like..

and yes, i seek a code that changes the maximum carried ammo to smaller number, lets say 150, i think the 400 is too much...

Oh, I see, when you said ammo box, I thought you meant magazine size, heh. Very good idea to reduce carried ammo, holding 400 ammo with you at all times seems a bit inhuman anyways.

Hmmm...

I don't think the amounts of different types of ammo you can hold are in RAM, so you cannot edit them with a gameshark. However, I wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong...

If you want to look for them, here's a start:

Multiplayer:

Player 1's Currently Held Ammo
0x801BCE4C - Pistol ammo
0x801BCE50 - SMG ammo
0x801BCE54 - Crossbow Bolts
0x801BCE58 - Assault Rifle ammo
0x801BCE60 - Farsight Orbs
0x801BCE64 - Frag Grenades
0x801BCE68 - Rockets
0x801BCE6C - Combat Knives
0x801BCE70 - Magnum Bullets
0x801BCE74 - Ballistic Grenades
0x801BCE78 - Remote Mines
0x801BCE7C - Proxy Mines
0x801BCE80 - Timed Mines
0x801BCE84 - Reaper Ammo
0x801BCE90 - N-Bombs
0x801BCE94 - Tranquilizer Ammo
0x801BCEA0 - Psychosis Gun Ammo


Try setting a read breakpoint on any of those; see if anything that bites compares the ammo held to that ammo's max. That would probably be what you're looking for. I'd probably do it myself, but I don't know how to use the breakpoint function on my emu.

Setting a more restrictive ammo capacity sounds like a good idea.

Stumbled upon it yesterday.
