Yep, another Flag Tag mod! - and this time, it won't crash on you (aegh!)

Shaken, Not Stirred

In this scenario, the winner is the person who inflicts the most overall damage to the other players. Accuracy really isn't an issue, just plug 'em as much as possible - tee hee! Heck, this is the only mode that isn't entirely stupid to play invincible.

What it does is adds together the hit count values stored in player stats.
Here's the tally:

1: For every head, body, limb, or other shot you get one point.
2: For every shot in the back, you also get one point.
3: Heat damage done to others nets a point, though one-hit explosions are not always tallied...
4: Slappers and Knives don't count, nor direct hits from projectiles (RL,GL).

That said, shooting in the back is always good for two points. Also, shooting even when damage isn't dealt still racks up points, including when they die and are fading away! Even worse, you can continue mangling their invisible corpse until they finally press the start button - how cheap is that?

notes:
Stay away from knives and slappers, since you don't get points with them.
Also, if you're going to fire a RL/GL round, fire low. The round itself may kill them, and if that happens no score for you.
Proxies are good for racking in lots of heat damage points.
Shotguns, due to their crazy multi-shot stuff, are the best weapons around, counting for 8 points per hit. Needless to say, Power Weapons rock.
Remember, this is the *only* MP that you can play invicible, so it's worth giving it a shot.

hacker notes:
Setting a kill count value will finish the stage as soon as that number of hits is reached. However, you want to set the number high - 100 goes faster than you'd think.
It also does the same in the other scenario and flag tag, so if you do want a time cutoff, set the value very high. (or use the time calculator utility)

(note: "disable flag" is corrected below and reused in "Live and Let Die"
Don't use this code with "Live or Let Die", since that would be stupid.)

Didn't you mention something like this would be possible in an e-mail?
Well, I guess it was, cause you did it. It's rather interesting, when you stop and think about it. The important thing is not to kill your opponents, but to hit them as many tmes as possible. Shame about the points continuing to rack up even after your character has died. But every good hack seems to have its drawbacks, eh? Excellent work, as always. Smile
