Howto Make Hostages count as Hostages

A0XX00100000
XX = guard ID

Then use F7 to detect number of hostages killed.

lol I couldn't remember how I did that with the scientists and librarians in my library mission. Looking back at my actions blocks is looks like that is indeed how I pulled that one off.

It's really easy, which was good and a nice surprise. I had thought it was object 12, but in the end, I think that is the probability of throwing a grenade that zoinkity found out.

Yeah, it was. The 'beligerancy' tag. It sets how readily guards do virtually anything, from throwing a grenade to hopping. That's why you'll notice that you can put a guard in a loop with nothing but grenade-throwing and they still do other stuff.

In the old notes, this little thing was mentioned but twice we crossed it off for some obscure reason.
