At one point, somebody made a series of codes to change the rate at which you climb ladders in the different GE stages. I'm not sure who or when, but I know this much: it was mentioned in one of the silo vent+ladder clipping posts. That would mean it was likely at GSCentral.com. However, there's a fairly good chance it was copied into the general GE cheat sites here and there under various different names.
If anyone has a copy of any of the ladder climb rate codes, please pretty please post them. With even so much as one it would take what might be a couple hours of hacking and reduce it to minutes. Then, with any luck, it can be compiled into the editor.

Looks to be in the temporary data area? Prob the easiest bet would be to breakpoint and modify the assembly code in the ROM. |

Turns out they aren't tabled after all. It's a single address, though I overshot the backtrace so I'm not really certain which one. It's just be affected by scale so it seems different.
