|
|
I was going through all my back catalogue of Action Replay codes made by other people at ARHQ years back, and seeing as most of what remains of ARHQ is not on the web, I've decided to post some classic codes here with credit to those that made them.

81027EA8 41F0
Enemy action modifier:
Made by FoxDie [2000]
80032141 00XX
XX=

97 - Move around and check
FF - Check around themselves
Play in Cuba cutscene:
Made by SeaSalt (Wasn't he a genious!)[1999]
81025E46 0036
800319EB 0001
81026A72 0001
Quote: | SeaSalt: To use code, enter Multi Player menu, exit, then load any single player level. |
That'll do for now... There are literally thousands of codes made by people years back that just don't exist on the web anymore, which is a shame really. These codes are just the tip of the iceberg - and I'm sure the original code makers wouldn't mind me posting these here. Enjoy! |

I remember a time when the PAL hackers were ahead of us NTSC'ers, when it came to certain aspects of the game. They had a handful of multiplayer maps we didn't, which just didn't want to load using the same method as theirs. Even the Citadel, though completely blank, started for them. Everything has pretty well evened out between us over the years. And the great thing was, it was never a competition. We all tried our best to help out, both in porting and explaining how things were done.
Thanks for posting those codes, Kode-Z.
Nice to see the PAL version got bloodier, hehe. _________________

Ah, the memories! I'm glad it has evened out over the years, too.
I still haven't experienced seeing the MCM in it's full glory, though! |

Yes, a bit of splatter does come out. Not sure about Multi. Nearly in the same league as Perfect Dark, only without stains on the clothing. |

It also works in multiplayer. The code modifies the bullet impact effects on all character bodies. Originally, smoke and sparks appeared on the person when shot. This changes those both into blood. Albeit a little bright, just blame Rare for trying to lower the ESRB rating.
This is what you get for all those times in Control!

Do you have any idea how the game determines what color to use? It would be cool to change it, not only for darker blood but I'm also thinking multi colored when paintball mode is on like in PD. |

How many of these level codes could my AR cartridge hold?
And how would u load up the level. do u choose the code then it automatically forces u to play the level chosen, ie the Dam. ?
But seriously guys, awesome work. Just awesome. |

Usually it forces a single level to load. That means you can only do one stage at a time, obviously.
You should be able to stuff them all on there; the NTSC versions all fit on my GS, and the only real difference between the two has to do with the graphics rendering code and a couple lines of text. (PAL uses a different screen resolution and timing) _________________ (\_/) Beware
