Mediafire is free filehosting, Your allowed 100MB per file (split-archives are allowed) and you have basically unlimited bandwidth you can use. (Unless you use more than 1TB a month, you won't be limited, but then again who uploads that much?) You don't even have to make an account to upload files, plus when you do make one you can keep all your files, make them private, and password protect them. Also you normally can't hotlink, but heres how to get the direct link:

Go to the file normally, when it says click here to start download, right click it, and select "Copy link location", then that is the direct link. If you have MP3's, you can use the link for them for a flash mp3 player. and the best thing is you won't run into extreme bandwidth usage unless you have a really really busy site.
