In another thread, PaD and I were discussing how certain weapons can penetrate through doors. Some doors can be shot through at any time, while others need to be opening/closing for the bullet to damage your opponent. I decided to check all of the multiplayer stages to see which category each of the doors fell under.
Here are the results...

Silver PP7 (only available in multiplayer with a cheating device)

Damage Inflicted When:
(O) The doors in question are currently operating or have been opened
(A) At any time you fire through them

Interesting, some doors you can shoot through anytime, I thought if visual was blocked, it doesn't go though every time. However, I suppose doors like temple doors are so big they have the same effect, the other room has to load for it. You just gave deadly strategy to PaD though, lol. I wonder if its possible to make all doors be able to shoot through? |

interesting information!
so I was not hallucinating when I shot people through closed doors...
I think kc named it, now it's time to figure how to mod that
If zoinkity just posted the door data
Heck, I'm really curious, I might be figuring it out myself soon
I bet there's a bit in the door data that makes it (A) or (O) (as Wreck called it). |
