Ok, I can run GoldenEye pretty well on PJ64, but wondered if anyone can recommend:

The best graphics plugin,
The best sound plugin

I ask this because like I said, it runs well, but it lags every now and again.

BTW, I have the right settings set up for GoldenEye.

Thanks!

I use Mudlord's Rice Video Plugin and whatever the default sound plugin is.

I use all of Jabo's plugins (video, sound, input).

Sadly, the only way to get rid of lag (if you have all the settings correctly set) is to build a faster computer.

You may also want to try tweaking the Counter Factor to 1 or 3. Set it to 1 if you have a really fast computer - this will increase in-game framerates. Set it to 3 if you have a slower computer - this will increase emulator framerates (in-game may be a bit more "jerky" but the more extreme lags should disappear)

Jabo's direct D8 1.6 and Jabos direct sound 1.6, they work great, but better in PD than GE. There are some flaws in graphics, but the games work so smooth, you just can't beat it, even 4 player games doesn't lag at all, even if I play PD in custom singleplayer maps, like Carrington villa, with 4 players and 8 simulants.

Mudlord's Rice Video Build 6.1.4. emulates more accurate (like skys and many graphical details (like ammo bars in PD), but it also gives way more better graphics, if you tweak it high... but... it gives much more lags and you might encounter some crashing problems also.

One more thing... it depends if you use PJ64 1.6 or PJ64 1.7. The 1.6 works more smoothly in multi, but 1.7 works better in single player PD (and probably GE too). The Mudlords plugin is better in 1.6, and the Jabo is same in both (except hi-res PD).
