I think I know what the problem is. Do I need to download the new version of Microsoft visual studio?

Please stop posting so much after yourself. We know you need help, and someone will come to your aid when they're able to. Constant posts in a row asking for it isn't going to get it any faster.

Ok, I just now downloaded the editor myself, and figured out your problem....

When you draw your shape with the Block tool, you need to convert it to a Solid. You do this simply by pressing "enter" on your keyboard. The lines you drew in the grid should turn Blue, and in the top left corner, you can see your solid figure. If you have textures imported, then select one of those prior to drawing your shape, and when you hit enter, it should apply them to it.

Anyway, you can use your keyboard to move around in the "camera" display. The arrow keys rotate the camera, and if you hold Shift, you can move up/down/left/right. The W key zooms in, and the S key zooms out, while the D and A keys move left and right.

Hopefully that answers your question. I'm just playing around making shapes myself, so I'm really new to this whole modeling thing and all that.

Thats all I did, and this is what comes up for me (I'm using one of the Goldeneye Textures.. image475:

Do you have a texture selected over there in the Texture Group on the right? If not, it'll use the default texture of black, which isn't a texture.

Aswell, where it says "camera", right click on that and make sure you have "3d flat" or "3d texture" selected.

It should be really simple. I was in the same position as you, and it really confused me, but after I figured it out, the rest kinda was easy.

Ok, thats the flat design of your block. Did you import the goldeney textures from the other thread? If so, look on my screen shot and at the right, you see where I have one selected, select a texture from there, and then create a block, and select "3d texture" instead of flat, and it should display the block in the texture you drew it with.
