I found an indent next to the camera in the lower hallways (No screeny atm) and I'm thinking that it is a Beta Leftover.

It appears as if there was another hallway where the indent is now, because that corner has the 'T intersection' structure instead of a curved wall.

Speaking of the deleted hallway, I have no clue what it could've held. My best guess would be a room with documents in it.

That is my theory. What do you guys think about this possible Beta Leftover?

It would be nice if it was still there. Sad

Hmm.
Rare was pretty odd/lazy when it came to deleting BETA items in the game. I likely think that it may have contained more documents you had to collect OR it was just another hallway leading to another room with no significance to the level.

In any case, Rare probably stuck a camera in there and then considered that part of the level pointless.

I doubt there would be anything down that "hallway" because if i'm not mistaken, it would have run right into the hallway going right up the stairs... Sad

^I was thinking there would be a turn to the right first so the hallway wouldn't run into the one up the nearby stairs. There is just enough space for a corner to fit.

hm, weird. Even if the hallway existed, and after it turned right, it would either have to end/make another right before it would hit the "Humongous television room" stairs...

Therefore, the theorized deleted room must have been in between the indent and the control room. It sure looks like there is enough space there for a small room.

It could have even been a small staircase leading down to another level. That's if they'd even planned on having anything there. Remember, this is one of the expanded locations from Bunker i. They might have thought about putting something there, but later voted against it. Which would explain why the typical "cornering" wasn't applied there, as it was left semi-incomplete.

Also, it makes the CCTV camera that is near it now have more reason to be where it is, if you get what I'm saying!

The Map/Bunker Expansion Plans shows evidence of a door being there too but no corridor. Interestingly it doesn't show the ventilation room, generator room, or that small computer room where the CCTV tape is.

DB that's exellent work. I never would have even thought about looking at that. As for the missing rooms, that's just strange. But that possible hallway seems pretty likely that something was there.... Maybe it'll turn up in that beta Goldeneye cartridge that's in my heavily armored safe! J/K Wink
