Carnage was originally a test map to see if I could get a Hammer map in game to see if Submarine was possible. Now that I have temporarily given up on Submarine, Carnage is my absolute first priority. This will be a high intensity multiplayer map, complete with (for lack of better word) "Catwalks", a skylight, and a few blocks on the bottom floor to break up any combat on the bottom floor. Clipping is near perfection, still with a few errors here and there. Improperly rendered textures are in the map as well, but I believe that has come with every Hammer map so far. Not sure if that's been fixed already or not. Here's a few shots of Carnage.....

I like the simplicity - looks good.

That's really what I was aiming for when i decided I wanted to take another step with this map. In it's very first stages, it was just the bottom floor! I figured that would just be boring, so I added the upper half and the skylight...

Can't wait till its finished!

Not sure how the framerate will hold up with it being that open but it looks like it'll be fun if it doesn't drop too low, I really like maps with a lot of height variation.
