how do i make it so on room is darker and the other room very dark (editing how much light there in my hammer edit map) im a noob sorry

Actually, light doesn't exist in Goldeneye. At least not like it does in other games. Thats why when we compile our Hammer maps for GE, we don't check the "Light" command. It doesn't exist in GE. However, you can darken the textures in the GE editor to make the room appear darker.

The setup editor supports adding RGB coloring to tri points now, which is how GE does its lighting:

Is the latest version on the GE Editor on GEVault? I know I have July 11th...

This subject is probably worthy of a tutorial.

Unfortunately, I'm not motivated enough to write one. But the procedure is fairly simple once you've done it a few times.

EDIT - here's a sampling of what you can accomplish with lighting...

At least lighting is not like secondary indices. With lighting, it is quite easy to learn how to do it by yourself.
