I, like many people I'm sure, have noticed that the sound effects in GoldenEye have been used in a handful of adverts, TV shows - even music! The sound bank must be license free.
In music, the GE reload sound was used in UK artist Shystie's song "Step Bac".

Fun fact: Shystie (real name Chanelle Calica) acted in a UK drama called "Dubplate Drama". One of her co-stars is Sean Brosnan - Pierce Brosnan's son! |

There's some thread arround handling this same matter.
They ought to be part of some commercial sound effect pack, and just everyone uses it.
I even found "GE sounds" in stuff predating GE, which makes it impossible that they originated in GE. Maybe it has some original samples made by Rare, but the bulk of them are from commercial packs. |
