Ok, so I go to File --> New, and up pops a new map. Using the default square settings (about 1cm squares it looks like), how many of those squares would be the equivalent of 1 character width/height?
I would like to make a level, even as just a test for practice, but wanna make sure I get the size right and don't make it enormous or too small. |

GE allows you to scale the levels to whatever size you want, so as long as you're consistent with whatever size you make things you should be good. I work with a 32 unit grid in Hammer, make my doors four of those units tall, two wide, and import at an 0.5 scale. |

Alright, thats good to know. I'm fairly consistent with size models and all that, unless I purposely deviate, so that shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks for the info. |
