Here's an idea from Cyberen. I wonder if anyone with access to the movie could rip some important scenes and put them on a private youtube-account? Not the whole movie, but important scenes, write some details about them and post the links here.

I can probably do this. Just let me know what scenes to put up. How does a youtube channel for this project sound? For uploading video previews, kinda like trailers.

So I have the movie on my computer now. Should I just upload the whole thing in pieces, just so we have it all at our disposal? I think all of the scenes are pretty important haha.

I have part 1 up. Its the drug bust and the opening credits. At the rate my computer is processing and compressing each part it'll be a day or two before I can get them all up.

Hackbond, you see, everything works out just fine if you're lazy.
Good job, Camaro. It's perfect, it's almost better quality than the rip I have on my computer.. hell, it's just as clear as the DVD I bought.

You'd be surprised how much of a difference a little contrast will make! I also believe the private viewers is tracked by IP. So once it gets to 25 I don't know what we'll have to do. Maybe re-upload, or find a different place to host them.

I'm not sure what happens at 25. I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there. You would think that you can view it as many times as you like but it says it can be viewed by up to 25 people and it has like a counter saying how many out of 25 have viewed it.

Yeah. But if its tracking by IP then anyone who has viewed it should be able to view it again without it counting towards the 25.
