Has anyone ever managed to kill Trevelyan before he goes down onto the platform? I was playing on Agent a few minutes ago, and rather than making him run between the two shacks like I normally do, I decided to chase him around the intended way, so he goes up to the top of the antenna. When I chased him back down through one of the shacks to the ramp, I got a headshot on him, and it killed him! I've never seen that happen before in all the years I've been playing this game. The music changed like it normally would when he goes to run down there, the door to the platform opened, and the objective completed like normal. I just had to drop down onto the platform to complete the mission. In fact, I didn't even hit the platform, the scene changed in mid fall.

I've had this happen to me one time. I had sniped him with double ZMG's while he was on the top walkway of the cradle.

If I'm not mistaken, you can actually damage him if you didn't hurt him (enough) while he was static, but I ain't sure ...

I believe I've done this maybe once or twice, but it doesn't seem to happen that often. Some speedrunners seem to use this trick to beat the mission a little faster. Perhaps it's a matter of dealing the proper amount of damage while he's in his "waiting" position. Get him down extremely close to his "Finish the job, James" health mark, then score a few clean headshots, and it theoretically could kill him.

I guess Trevelyan must have been pretty surprised to see Bond toss a hand grenade at him, since it appeared to kill him on the spot. Fighting fire with fire seemed to work quite nicely. They were both trained together, afterall. I'm betting their teacher taught them the value of a well placed grenade.

Heh. I tried looking at the action blocks that control him, but I'm not sure exactly what does it. These blocks are a mess of links and objective bits that toggle on different actions. Even though I can't find it, I'm sure what's happening is that running towards him triggers his fleeing response, but they forgot to reset his invincibility before jumping to that block.

Yes I have done it, once.
It's about as rare as rocking horse sh*t.
I think I caught him with a head shot when trying to aim directly for the drone gun the one time. I must have done everything at the right time and in the correct way as it has never happened since, and I certainly haven't got the patience to try and do it again.....

I actually threw a grenade at him one time when he was running to the bottom and it killed him, and I ended up scoring my own personal best time...(i'll put it up later)
