Recently I've had this obsession with sugary coloured American cereal. I've never tasted it, but I really really want to, at least once in my lifetime. The sweetest kind of cereal in Sweden is not even pink and green! This is why I ask you this, if anyone, from any country that has these cereals, would be so kind and go to the nearest grocery store and buy some boxes and ship them to me, in Sweden. I'd be eternally grateful. I know this may seem crazy, but I'd pay for shipping and the actual cereal. As long as it isn't more expensive than 25$. The reason that I don't go to any online stores is because it's extremely expensive. This method would be much cheaper, although weirder. I'd even post some photos of me eating them if I ever were to receive them, for great justice!

These are the cereals that I'm most keen about testing:

It's Lucky charms, Fruity pebbles and Froot loops.

This would obviously count as a donation, and you'd be mentioned in any finished project as a financier and "cereal ambassador". It could even be our new slogan, "Goldeneye modders - support us by donating sweet sweet cereal", or, "The Goldeneye hacking scene is fueled by breakfast cereal".

If you feel like helping me in my predicament, send me a PM and I'll give you the shipping address and we'll agree on what method I'll use to pay you.

EDIT-

I'm glad this isn't my 100th post. That would've been strange.

A long as it breaks no US export laws, which I doubt it does, I'd be happy to send it

Screw Lucky Charms, Frootloops, or the Pebbles(never even seen those). What you need to get your hands on is some cinnamon toast crunch. No its not all multi coloured, but man its gotta be the best cereal goin... That is if you like cereal with your sugar in the morning.

Thank you Subdrag! You do know that you're already the main contributor to any future projects, right? I mean, as the creator of the software that I use... This would only add to your long list of titles, Sir cereal ambassador, Mr Hacker Sir.

Yea, can't say that I'm well versed in the stand of sweet cereal. So that's a great contribution, I think I'll switch froot loops with that cinnamon toast crunch, for the sake of variety. It's not that I like sweet cereal in the morning, I can't truthfully say I've experienced it really, as the idea of a sweet breakfast in Sweden consists of milk, bark and a spoon of sugar if you've got a sweet tooth. I can just say that I like the concept of multicoloured sweet dry food which you consume in the morning in order to receive a quick sugar boost. There's just something perverse and glamorous about it, which really fascinates me.

there are/were some of these in Spain.
I tried some when I was a kid. These froot loops were called "fruity loops" here. They look exactly the same.
And I liked something that was similar to these lucky charms.
Not sure what's in the market right now, since I haven eaten these for a long long time.
Usually I would prefer to eat them alone instead than milking them because I didn't like how they lost almost all of their flavour in the milk and how, after a short while, it all turned into a nasty mud xD.
you have to eat them fast or milk them in short batches.

Fruit Loops were one of my favourites growing up. They still air commercials for them in North America, starring their mascot, "Toucan Sam". I often eat them to this day, though usually a cheaper version released by another company. Cereal ain't cheap, you know. Razz

Another of my personal faves is Alpha-Bits...

Three more good ones...

Cap'n Crunch

Sugar Crisp (old box, can't find new one)

Reese's Puffs (if you like a peanut buttery taste)

Oh, and then there's Frosted Flakes, Honey Nut Cheerios, Corn Pops...
There's so many. It's strange that we take it for granted.

That's spectacular. Reeses's sounds interesting, can't imagine the taste. Although I wonder, is it really healthy? I mean, I'm just going to eat three boxes and keep them as souvenirs. But if you eat it everyday, especially when you're young, (the group which these cereals obviously are marketed towards; the mascots, the addictive sugar, the bright colours and the occasional toys) couldn't it be kind of harmful? I'm all for letting grown people choose wether they'd like to stuff themselves with unhealthy food, that's exactly what I'm looking forward to, but I'm also kind of thankful that I wasn't born and raised on such cereals. Just by comparing kelloggs.se (their Swedish site) and kelloggs.com you'll learn that they have MARSHMALLOW froot loops there, I'm speechless! That's incredible, hah. Bet it'd taste great though.

Guess what I got today!

I also got a little letter, from our very own SubDrag! This certainly ranks as my favourite package I've ever received, candy and inspirational words! Which one should I start with, cinnamon crunch certainly looks like the better tasting, but Lucky charms has marshmallows, what do you suggest?

I'd go with the cinnamon toast crunch; I never really liked lucky charms outside of the marshmallows.

Lucky charms all the way Very Happy I actually bought a box of Lucky charms off eBay once, they were discontinued a long time ago in the UK....probably because they're the most unhealthy cereal known to man Wink

Lucky charms was like Cheerios with bits and pieces of candy. Also, when you had eaten half bowl of it, you start to only eat those wheat things. Finally there's only a pile of marshmallows left floating around in the milk, and that's when you dig in. Cinnamon toast crunch felt the most "breakfast" for some reason, it may have to with it tasting like bread and cinnamon, nothing too perverted about it. Finally, Fruity pebbles shook my world, everything was mind boggling about it. The colours, the taste, the smell, the sugar. I was still burping that smell three hours after intake. Was feeling a little sick still two hours later, but it certainly takes the price.
Lucky charms get 8/10, cinnamon toast crunch get 6/10 and Fruity pebbles get 9/10. Not sure what they have to do with the Flintstones though.

Hehe, I'm glad to hear that you finally had a chance to taste some of the more exotic cereals. There's still a lot more where those came from, so maybe you'll have to ask Sub to score you a few more boxes in the near future. Razz

I might celebrate the Goldfinger project with some cereal, to motivate me! If I just sat around and ate cereal all day I wouldn't get much work finished, Goldeneye related or not...

After some weeks I've come to a final conclusion. Cinnamon toast is the only one of them that you can eat for a longer period, as breakfast at least. At first I thought it was kind of bland, now when I'm nearing the bottom of the box, I look forward to the morning's cinnamon explosions. Fruity pebbles was the most fascinating cereal, but after some mornings with it I became gradually sicker. Almost threw up at one point. Now it serves as a late night snack when you're playing classic adventure games, such as Broken Sword and the Lucasarts ones. For that, it's most fitting.
And then there's Lucky charms... It's bewildering to me how this could be one of the most favored cereals. It's Cheerios with dry marshmallows. I really dislike Cheerios. At the end, I'm sitting there with a half bowl of soggy candy. Not really breakfast, not really anything. I might separate the candy from the cereal and eat it as a snack or something.
