With the rerelease of the original PD on XBLA only months away, I decided to get to work on some remixes of PD's music. Anyone is free to add their PD remixes too!

Percusion sounds exactly as in the game, did you reproduce it or somehow recorded it from the game?
I like this, but volume balance between certain instruments is a bit off, you should adjust it a bit better because certain things that should have focus at certain points are a bit lower than they should be.
Otherwise, it's perfect. |

The whole thing was re-produced, with similar sounding instruments. (And of course the addition of the "Alien Conflict" drum loop!)
I accidentally uploaded the test version, rather than the final version - hence the low volumes of some instruments, and the removal of the link! |

My first proper mix is the "Carrington Institute" theme.
I decided to add some guitar to the mix. I spent a while settling on what instruments to use!

I use a program called "Cubase SX". It was a birthday present a few years back.

i downloaded it three days ago, opened it in windows media player...and three days later it's still playing O_O.

Pretty good, Kode-Z! The guitar really was a nice touch, it gives character to the mix. Nice job!
Also, not to steal any of your thunder, but I'm a musician myself and I was wondering if I could post my own PD remixes here (if I get around to making them).
Anyway, great job again, looking forward to more remixes! |
