No, it was some Nintendo Japanese person named Mr. Taketo (headed up development of N64) _________________ Also known as Spyster or Nyxem

I doubt they'd do, and even in the unlikely case they did, we wouldn't be able to run it, since it's probably software for a Silicon Graphics workstation.
Hackbond, how could you understand that, man??? |

That was awesome, and seeing Bond girls play GE in costume! Wonder what objectives were removed by Ken Lobb . |

Remember that screenshot (I think it's in the manual?) of Dam on secret agent with 00 agent's objectives? I'm wondering if you originally had to complete every objective on every difficulty. I'm just having a hard time picturing these missions with other/more objectives. |

Despite all its greatness, I'm still bugged by that whole "it feels like you're Bond"-schtick. I enjoyed Goldeneye for many reasons, but it didn't feel like I was Bond. It's more like you get certain set pieces to play with. "Here's Bond, here's Natalya, here's Boris, here's some missions, here's the Bond universe and some familiar locations. Do what you feel like." Bond didn't explore Bunker to see what he could find, he didn't rig a room with timed mines and locked the doors until there were twenty guards outside and detonated the mine, he didn't shoot at Natalyas hands (she would scream, but she wouldn't die!) while waiting for her to finish her speech, and he certainly never rescued any hostages on Frigate.
I don't see why every movie-game tie-in has to boast with the possibility to play as "the main character." If I wanted to experience what the main character experience, I read the book or watch the movie, the game allows me to explore and invent new scenarios in an already existing universe, something which can be powerful in its own right. |

Yeah, I never understood that "feel like you are" thing they always say about videogames. I never felt like I was anybody in a game, for the reasons you exposed and even more.
Not even games such as Zelda or other RPG's made me feel like I was the protagonist. For me, there's always a HEALTHY distance between my reality and that of the game or it's protagonist.
It's just a marketing thing, they feel like they have to say that if they want to sell. |
