I figured it out. It is one of the best games of all time, but the fact that it is the one truly great bond game makes it so special. If Rare had went on to make other bonds, this game might not be so memoriable as it is. Mayby Rare selling bond was a good thing. If there were more games like it, I doubt Goldeneye would be as remembered. Becase it is BY FAR THE BEST BOND GAME EVER MADE, with NO OTHER GAME COMMING CLOSE IN COMPARISION, makes it truly stick out. But if it had say 3 other games just like it (Perfect Dark really is as diffrent as it is the same), it wouldn't stick out in our minds as much. Since it has a good chance of remaining "The One And Only Truly Grand Bond Game", it will always be remembered in peoples minds. Even though it would be nice to see another Bond game like it, this is why it is as special as it is.

Yeah, i've liked this game since I first picked it up. Its got great replay value in Single Player, and an awesome Multiplayer Mode. Rare did a good job on this one.

What I would like to see, is a remake of it except have it be on the Playstation 2.Same graphix, control style, and gameplay, but more characters, missions, multiplayer levels, and weapons. I know goldeneye is based on the movie, but if they did it right, they could do what they did with Egyptian and the Aztec, and add levels from other good movies.

Back when it came out this was one of the longest and hardests games. Now, with gamkes like Resident Evil 4, and people who can beat every mission on every difficulty in 2 hours, it seems small.

it was revolutionary. excellent replay value. phenominal multiplayer. very difficult (todays fps's single player modes are too easy). very detailed. kickass game. it takes my award for best FPS and maybe game.

When I first played the game I really sucked. I didn't realize I would be grounded into it.

10 years later, I can't believe Goldeneye and it got much succeed since many years, and this game isn't out.Surprised

I raise my hat for Rareware. Goldeneye was a great revolution in James Bond video games.
