This will be essential to Goldfinger project to keep our overwrite textures straight.
There are two new options in 2.3.4 of editor or later.
Overwrite existing textures with new textures
Use text files looking like: (defaults to type 46)
06C5 face.bmp
06C6 side.bmp
Overwrite existing textures with new textures (specify types)
Use text files looking like (type MUST be specified per line)
06C5 face.bmp 40
06C6 side.bmp 40
40 is type of image shown in Image Tools.
If replacing a model, some need to be interlaced. If it shows up in-game looking like:
It probably means it was imported as 46 and should be 40.
Checking original, you see it was supposed to be 40. So we need to use second version.
I recommend using second version and setting all to 46 for Goldfinger, then any messed up we moved to 40.
All new imports otherwise are type 46 by default. |
