Hi 00-Agents ! Smile

I've been asking at the chat but nothing worked, so I come up here, desperate to fix the problem.

---

A while ago, a virus in an USB device destroyed many important programs in my computer (Mupen64 for instance, but the list is long (Steam, Setup Editor, many other gaming exes...)). Before that incident, everything used to work fine with Mupen.

My current problem is the following :
I use the left joystick of the pad to move, in conjunction with a 1.2 setup in the game. I can not do any kind of straff-run which is being a huge handicap and terribly frustrating. I can only move forward, backwards and straff left/right. Occasionaly the R trigger, binded for firing doesn't fire at all.

---

Solutions I thought of :
* Using another plug in
* Binding differently

Guess what? Nothing worked. Other plug ins just freeze the emulator which must be closed via the task manager.

If anyone has a potential solution, tell me as I'm terribly missing online play ;(

1. AFAIK, you can't have a virus inside of a game controller.
2. Try inserting the system disk and then formatting the hard drive. This is almost guaranteed to clean out your computer. Reinstall everything you want after formatting.
3. Ask the experts!

That virus came from an USB device, not a controller. Razz
Well I would like to format everything but sadly, I don't have a Vista installation CD. ;(
