Looks like you were correct, DB. The Team Heads Only cheat does appear to be the second set of random female heads. Again, the only body that doesn't pull from that set is Cassandra's Bodyguard. They continue to use from the third set. Rare must've made sure that they'd always use the same three heads because of the Night Vision. Otherwise, those five bodyguards would be wearing sunglasses. I'm betting the second set of male heads is also for Team Heads...

I wanted to post an update. Since finding out that GE had 6 hat styles, I was interested in looking into this for PD. Turns out the hat logic still exists! But the table always returns -1 default. It's also run slightly differently codewise, but it's probably because of changes made for PD, though hats were kept working.
For technical minded, here is the spot where it hardcodes -1:
7F08BCFC - beta table load, hardcoded to -1
In nemu, with a hat, and prop model type set to 006E, you can set to 0003 for bulletproof, 0005 for can't shoot through.
Also confirmed action 00C9 does spawn a hat too. |
