I don't know about customs in other parts of the world, but in Spain, at least the part I live in, it's typical for people to come out to the streets and lit fireworks in the new year.
I have been lent a cellphone with a camera so I have made some crap videos of what could be seen from my window.
This year the crisis has affected the ammount and spectacularity of the fireworks employed, but I wanted to show you guys, and see if you find it curious.

Hey, that's pretty cool looking. I like the shots to the left, where you just see the colors going up the building there.
Usually on New Years Eve I'd walk up a few blocks to the river and watch the fireworks, but the weather's going to be nasty tonight, so I won't bother. |

Scotlands got the best ever New Year. Its called Hogmanay
At the EXACT moment it turn 00:00 01/01/****, Edinburgh Castle fires fireworks, ALOT of them. I gotta record it for you guys one day.

Las Vagas had lots of fireworks and lots of them it went till 7 min till it end and thats a lot of fireworks Guys.
