Since many of you seem to need custom weapon sets in many different varieties I decided to make this tutorial Wink.

It's not very difficult as you can see in the window below everything is about 98% self explanatory. You choose the weapon set you want to ALTER. Say for example: SLAPPERS ONLY from the WEAPON SET MENU (top one) Once there you go down to the next menu area below it and start changing the weapon pick up, image, ammo type, etc. There are 7 weapon placements total in every set from SLAPPERS to GOLDEN GUNS. Hope this helps

OH and don't forget to make sure the "AMMO PICKUP" box is check marked or nothing will appear in the level! Wink

Thanks for the tutorial, I was checking this out the other day but once we are finished modifying the weapons set, how do I go about generating the patch? sorry bro this is all new to me, all I know how to use the setup editor for applying a patch after I downloaded a custom GE rom.

Also how would I be able to change the name of it in the emulator rom list, so people are able to distinguish it from the other mods?

After you change it you have to save the rom FIRST. Name it MOD or something. Then you need a NORMAL ROM that's untouched. Then you go into the editor TOOLS and scroll down to XDELTA patching and select generate GE xdelta patch Wink OR you could make an IPS patch. Think it's higher quality but in a bigger files size. ???? Not sure if that's completely accurate. Sub would know Laughing As for changing it's name you just name your ROM whatever you want brother. You may have to uncheck the hide file extensions stuff in windows to make it easier to edit your files. Security. HUMBUG.

NOW GO HOME AND STUDY FOR THE TEST TOMORROW Wink JK

As for your ROM thing. I would name it something COOL Wink. Just take your security settings off so you can mess with file extensions like this:
