I am planning to attempt to create a Solo Mission for PD, using Villa multi, replacing Villa solo. This time, I NEED help. I would trade files via mediafire so we could edit and fix each others work. I would like Radorn, Fantsu, 00Dark, Subdrag, Wreck, and Zoinkity, to help. Any others willing, can help.
------------
Villa objectives:
1. Save hostages
2. Raise antenea and send distress signal
3. Destroy all dataDyne equipment.
4. Eliminate dataDyne team.
5. Rescue Carrington.
.................
Background:
dataDyne has kidnapped the CI staff that was at the Villa, Including Carrington. They have not been moved to a separate location since they want Dr. Caroll. They say they will release the staff if they return their sapient.
1:
Who knows what dataDyne will do to the kidnapped staff. Assume they are hostages and rescue them.
2. All communications are down except by a backup satelite that dataDyne are using. Raise it and send a distress call for picking up the crew and cleaning up the rest of the Villa.
3. dataDyne have planned a full takeover of the Villa and have decided to place their equipment there. Be careful, there are drone guns, they are prepared for you.
4. Eliminate the dataDyne team so a safer evacuation is possible.
5. Carrington is being held hostage and you must save him! His excact location is unknown though.
.................
Objects:
Plants
Couches (Are there benches?)
dataDyne guards
Satelite dish
Computer (not sure of type)
Invisible panels (Used the same way as Pelagic 2)
Drone gun
Office suit (Guard, in this case, hostage)
Daniel Carrington
that's all for now
............
Weapons:
Jo: Falcon 2
(Hostage gives you X-ray scanner)
Guards: CMP150
Grenade
DY357 Magnum
.............
Music: Same as origonal
OR
CI Operative
.................
Sky: Thinking about a darker one
.................
Intro:
Location: Room with two grass gardens.
Intro animation: is that possible?
..................
Custom sounds? no

Well, its gonna be hard....I'm in.

For the intro, just use the current one, saves you trying to make one. Just delete the text or whatever Joanna says.

Great! Yeah, keeping it simple will be tough. The easiest thing to do would be object/guard placement. The hardest will be action blocks, since we aren't too sure how PD's action blocks work.
I'm also going to attempt to have the same outro.
This will be awesome when completed. And I want it to be as difficult as possible without being impossible.
Anyone else?
I did four things in the editor, then it crashed.
1. insert start point.
2. intro block
3. insert guard
4. click off inviciility
then it crashed.

Who needs hammer? If you can do any polly modeling then any modeler that exports .obj will do.

Trev

P.S. Maybe, and I mean Maybe One day Ill make an app that is based on Timesplitters map creator for those new to modeling levels. So far I have build several models but as for program code I am at -1%

He's planning on using a map from the game so Hammer, or any other modeler, will not be necessary. And I can do some level testing, which is about all I can do, with school and extracurricular activities taking up most of my time.
