Is it possible to reactivate his face as a selectable head in the editor; or is their no model that exists for this face?

No head model exists for those textures (chances are it would still be available for selection if one ever did, like the terrorist and biker heads).

Update: March 06,2010

Sorry for the lack of updates with this stuff guys. School has gotten in the way for me; but I am gonna have a few days off so I am gonna get back to work.

I have been working on some concepts; but I haven't started on modifying the suits yet; here's what I have in mind

Idea Janus Security Force
Whose been watching all of those CCTV cameras all over the place in GoldenEye? The Janus Security Force.
Suit: A Bit formal; kind of like a blue version of the sniper from PD
but with no helmet and a name tag of sorts
Head: No specific head picked for em; they can use any of the random ones.

Idea FBI/CIA Agent
This is actually a Perfect Dark to GoldenEye port idea I've had in mind for awhile. I've tried doing this before by modifying bond's suit. But then I remembered PD has a CIA Agent.
Suit: as i Said the PD CIA Agent
Head: Nothing Specific; can use any of the random heads.

Idea Priest Re-deux
Yep; I am gonna try re-working the priest. I am thinking about using Joanna's Chicago uniform w/ some heavy modifications. If that doesn't work; I'll create one from scratch or pre-existing .wad images and convert it over to GE
Suit: Joanna's Chicago uniform w/ Heavy mods
Priest Uniform from Scratch
Another wad image converted to GE
Head: Nothing Specific; can use any of the random heads.

A lot of this will take some time; so it may be a long time before i make another update.

Ok here is my first update for this in a long time.

I've began porting the Datadyne Shock Trooper as a test of porting PD textures into GoldenEye; and I've run into a problem.

Most characters in GoldenEye if not all only have ONE set texture on the chest. While in Perfect Dark the characters seem to use 2; one for the right and left side. Would I be able to combine them without increasing the file size and still keeping it 32x32 and not making it look like pixelated crap? or Am I gonna have to make a new chest texture all together?

Yeah, you're going to need to combine the textures into one if you want to use it on a GE model. To be honest, I never noticed that PD's guards were more detailed than GE's, so as long as your combined textures look good I doubt we'll notice any difference in-game. Just make sure you keep the GE texture sizes the same or you'll run into issues with UV coords.

Sorry I haven't been keeping up with this; I've just been having some hardware problems. I'll return to the work soon; I've had to scrap a lot of my ideas because trying to create a single-texture with the two PD textures is pain in the ass; it glitches up and is really really hard to work with. I will work on fixing it or maybe even just doing my own textures using GIMP.

I'll get back to this; don't worry Smile

I really wished I could have returned to this project, but sadly.. that isn't gonna happen. This all fell apart around me in both hardware and software problems.

Lack of room on my harddrive and problems with ROMs and emulators have driven me nuts and I left this project a lone. I guess if anyone wants to do something like this and they need some help, I could give some advice but
yeah. This project is dead

I guess this thread should be locked

NapalNero if your Ram and stuff for computer is low and if your computer is slow why not ripe it out start new agane. like complely delete your harddrive and restart to the day you got your computer. It will be fast agane and you be abile to work on your editing. Its the best way to get things back to getter.

Yeah, I'm not formatting my harddrive. I had been doing stuff with the Source engine parallel to this for quite some time. The source engine stuff took up more room than I expected.

I have 960MB - 1GB of RAM in my computer, and it surprisingly gets me by just fine. I might return to this one day, just right now I'm more caught up with the Source project.

Oh and Mexid.. or w/e
Western Digital - 250GB HDD
I only have 30 - 20GB left

Having less than 10% or something of your hdd slows down your computer, I think.

Well good luck. But i got to ask do you hve a SD card if you do then move all the stuff you want to save then ripe out your computer problem sove.
