It is ruining it for me. It is IMPOSSIBLE to aim. I just cannot do it, so have to rely on cmp lockon and its not fun |

I know right, even aiming with "LT" is hard, in fact, I find aiming with the "LT" button to be HARDER. |

Using LT is much harder than using right, but they're both awful |

Indeed. Thank God for auto-aim. Was the original game's aiming this bad?
p.s.
If you saw the XBLA trailer for the game, did you notice how easy the aiming in the sniping scene of the trailer looked? lol |

No original game was very precise and awesome. Sniping in villa is excruciating in xbla |

With all this modern and new technology, they can't even make a game that lets you aim right... |

the problem is the potentiometer based analogues.
when we where making metal things for the insides of the n64 controller we saw that the stick works with parts like the old computer mouses.
the thing has a spring inside that provides tension against the force of your finger.
new controllers have 2 small potentiometers (like volume control knobs)
and don't rally have anything to force against your finger.
They are really bad for real precision situations
That is why when you play Zelda master quest on the gamecube the aiming of the arrows is too sensitive too.
nintendo 64 controllers that used analogues also had this problem.
Play zelda master quest in the emulator with the n64 controller and it is better.
same thing with this PD xbla once it gets emulated eventually, If and when you play it with the n64 controller you will see it works fine. |
