The shotgun is underpowered.

I fired at this guy who was like 7-10 feet in front of me about 5-10 times with a shotgun, and he didn't even die. (Also, no, the other guy wasn't using a shield... or at least I don't think he was.)

That wasn't the only time I've experienced the underpoweredness of the shotgun. Who else thinks they should make the shotgun more powerful?

Keep it all in one post, please, no need to make four separate posts saying the exact same thing basically.

As for the shotgun, you need to get up pretty close for it to be of any use. I usually use the double blast function, since the second blast usually isn't wasted, and on the chance the first kills someone you can always try to hit someone else with the second if anyone else is around. (What was dumb was allowing you to chamber 9 shells in a weapon that can fire two at a time...)

I agree it's slightly underpowered, I have to use it only as last resort.

It is such a bad-ass looking and sounding gun though. I mean, it's rather satisfying to hear that loud "boom" and see the massive recoil of that giant gray beast.

Aim to head with double-blast in close range and its not that bad
